Courtney is FIVE!

On Courtney's actual birthday, it was a preschool day. She took sugar cookies to share with her friends and got to wear a birthday crown! She opened presents and requested her favorite dinner: Olive Garden! She gets spaghetti with chicken fingers and garlic mashed potatoes. She LOVES their breadsticks, especially when I get alfredo dipping sauce! She was also SUPER excited that Dan took her to see Oz: Great and Powerful. It was an okay movie (Dan said) but she was so inquisitive about it!
Happy birthday sweet girl :)

World Conference 2013

I have been going to World Conference since I was little. I remember always getting to take a friend and it was a big deal. I loved seeing all the different cultures and countries in their native costumes, especially all the Polynesians! We took Courtney when she was two for the first time, but hopefully she will remember going this year.

I always love that the parking lot is in bloom!
Ryan was definitely contained in the small rows, but it was a bit exhausting to keep him entertained!

Communion

Ryan fell asleep during legislation one morning.

Easter

Easter this year was much easier than Easter last year. Ryan was brand new and it was a blur. We went to Maysville to church with my parents. My dad spoke and my mom did a focus moment and Courtney got to help with both! That's the perk when there are only 12ish other people in the congregation! We had lunch at my mom's and had an Easter egg hunt.

Courtney passed out lilies to the congregation.

Not easy to keep Ryan sitting in a pose...but Courtney does her best!

Kindergarten enrollment

Oh. My. Goodness. It's almost time for Courtney to go to kindergarten! She is so excited and so ready! She loves preschool and playing school at home. She loves making friends wherever we go so I can't wait to hear about all the little friends she makes.

She is so lucky to be able to go to the same school as her best friend Ashley. There are five sections so I have a feeling they won't be in the same class but she has assured us she will hug her when she sees her at lunch!

I-side

When Courtney was about 15 months old she said "I-side" whenever she wanted to go outside. I can't wait for Ryan to start using more words for things! We have been able to play outside a lot lately and Ryan is in heaven!

We also visited a park in Grain Valley today. Ryan is going to have so much fun there! He swing for the first time and just smiled the whole time!
