First teeth, first plane ride and crawling - oh my!

What a big week it has been for Ms. Courtney! Last Monday she decided she wanted to start crawling - so she did. We lured her around the living room with a Wal-Mart sack. EARLY Friday morning she boarded her first plane and traveled to Michigan to see her uncle Dave get married and later that day we discovered she had a tooth poking through her gums! We didn't even see it coming! She did so wonderful on all 4 of our plane rides, traveling for hours in the car, sleeping in hotels, being a quiet little girl for the wedding and a flirty little girl for the reception. We couldn't ask for a better baby!A VERY sleepy Courtney (notice it's still dark outside:(
We had long layovers, but luckily, this girl loves terminals.
Meeting her Great Grandpa "poppa" and Grandma Mary!

8 months old!

Courtney is growing so fast! She has been a lot of fun to watch grow, too lately with so many new changes! In the past month she has really taken off with eating many new veggies and starting to move around (crawling backwards, rocking on all fours, pulling up on mommy and daddy). I tried to post a video of the cuteness, but it's not going so well...maybe later. Or, you can come visit us and see for yourself!
I love this move - instead of being on hands on knees, she will push up on hands and feet - the little butt in the air is precious!

These pictures are from election night at Matt and Amber Mills. These are Courtney's friends from church in their electionwear. Courtney sported patriotic while Trey wore a "future president" shirt. Marin's won my fave with "Barack, paper, scissors".

Trey is showing his muscles to impress the girls.

Happy Halloween!

A quick outdoor Halloween photo shoot. What an awesome day!Our beautiful butterfly!

Courtney's first house she ever trick-or-treated at was Brian and Lyda's. She picked a pixie stick and gum.

Our first trick or treater! Ashley and Lyda stopped by for a photo shoot - the girls were thrilled.
"I love this day - this is way better than carrots!"
Grandma and grandpa McClain stopped by to give Courtney some Halloween hugs.
"I am so excited to be at this Halloween party!"
Playing with friends!

Courtney sporting her dependence proudly!

I thought this was the cutest fall picture I have ever seen! Soon after she ate the leaf.
