Our first day of our vacation started with a 4:15 wake up call, departure from the house at 4:45, trip to the airport, bus ride from our parking spot and easy trip through Southwest security (why do we ever fly anything else?) before leaving on a jet plane at 7:00 am! We made it to Orlando at 11:00, waited in line for the Disney Magical Express to take us to our resort and by 1:00 we were eating lunch at the Caribbean Beach Resort and then heading out to start our magical day! We were extremely thankful for all the free transportation that Disney provides, but you are at it's mercy and timing. This first day was our trial day to get everything figured out: bus stops, timing, fast passes, how to get in the parks, how to use our dining plan, etc. We got to Magic Kingdom at 3:30 and by 5:00 we felt like experts with how to work the crowds, lines and fast past passes!

We ended our first night a little before 10:00 by heading back to our hotel to get a good night's sleep for our first big day!
