My sweet baby boy is ONE! Before he was born, I pinned this adorable picture of a newborn in a sock monkey hat and I knew that was going to be his party theme. I'm just a little bit crazy about parties, themes and planning. It's a hobby. I LOVED the way this party turned out! It was so fun to see Ryan have a fun time with all his family and friends!

Ryan's month by month birthday banner. I am SO glad we did this. Was it a bit nuts every month? Yes. Was it sometimes impossible to get just ONE good picture of him not crawling away. Yes. Was it totally worth it? Absolutely! Here is a link to my "how to" get the shot of a wiggly baby :) |
My cute birthday boy! |
Sock monkey puppet craft (if it's a Dana party, there has to be a craft)! |
Apparently my dad REALLY loved making a puppet! |
Food: we had ham/turkey/cheese sandwiches (rolls are in the Radio Flyer wagon), bananas, monkey bread, chi(m)ps, and banana pudding with Nila wafers. I made up that "chi(m)ps" thing all on my own! |
Ryan got to eat most of his party food too! |
I really hope I get to use this banner in the future at a pirate party or maybe a cowboy birthday! I loved all the polka dots :) |
He dug right in!! |
This was HILLARIOUS! He kept eating it without hands. He probably dug into it face first 6 or 8 times! |
What? |
Thanks to my bestie Lyda for getting all these cute smiles out of him! |
And like the rest of his meals eaten in this chair...most of the cake ended up next to him. He kept trying to lick up and swipe all that icing. Even as we were taking off the tray! |
Presents! He was *sort of* into it. |
I think Ryan made out pretty well! |
Love that cute tie! |
